Right click the link to one of the ROMS and choose Save Target As...
Save it somewhere where you can find it. My Documents is a good spot.
You'll need to unzip the file, so go to My Documents, right click on Blip_a58, and choose 'Unzip to Blip_158' or 'Extract All'

If you have not already done so, you must first install the Windows driver which is included with this download. This only has to be done once on the PC being used.

How to install the Windows Driver
Step 1

You only need to install the Windows driver once.
The driver allows Windows to see the URBI when it is connected to the PC.

Go to the "Driver Installer" directory.
Right click cy_dev.inf file, and choose "Install"

Windows will partially install the driver.
It will install the rest as soon as you connect the interface in the next steps.
Step 2
Put the Jumper clip on the URBI jumper pins as shown:
It should be across the two pins, seconds from the end with a '1' next to it.
Step 3
Connect URBI to PC whilst holding button.

A.
Before you connect the USB cable to the URBI, HOLD DOWN THE BUTTON shown.  The LED should light SOLID RED once connected and you'll see Windows XP detect the device.  If the LED twinkles, you didn't hold the button properly or the clip is not on. It must light RED upon connection.

B. Now you must remove the jumper clip to allow the reprogramming to take place.
Step 4
Windows will finish installing the driver.

Windows asks to search Windows Update.
Choose No, not this time and Next.
Step 5
Make sure that Install the software automatically is selected as shown. Click Next

You may need to wait a minute whilst windows searches for the correct driver.
Step 6
Choose the first driver from the list.
This example shows two, you'll probably only see one.
Click Next.
Step 7
The driver is being installed, just wait for it to finish.

Now that the driver is installed, the PC can communicate with the URBI interface and re-program it.

In future, just put the jumper on the URBI and connect whilst holding the button in.
How to update the URBI software
Step 1 (skip to step 3 if your URBI is already connected after following the driver install above).
Put the Jumper clip on the URBI jumper pins as shown:
Step 2
Connect to the PC whilst holding in the button as shown:
Step 3
Once windows has connected to the URBI (You'll hear a "doo-doop" noise), you must remove the jumper clip.
Step 4

In update directory you will see a file named
Update URBI.bat

Double click on this file and the URBI will be reprogrammed.
This takes about 1 minute. Don't interrupt the process or use your PC for anything else while this runs.
Once done, the window will close.

If you have any problems, disconnect the URBI and start from the beginning.  Do not forget to put the clip back on before connecting to the PC!

If you have any problems, check the log.txt file generated.  You can email this file to support@blip.com.au for help.
