This very small interface permits the operation of the shutter button on a range on Canon DSLR cameras using normal hobby remote control equipment. The camera must feature the Canon N3 connector shown in the picture - see below for list of cameras.
This interface is very simple to use. Just connect to the camera and remote control receiver. No extra cables or connectors are required. Stick movement above a 50% position will instruct the camera to take autofocus and meter - a "halfpress". Moving the stick above 75% will trigger the shutter (these positions are configurable). If continuous drive mode on the camera is desired, the camera will shoot as long as you hold the stick above the 75% position (configurable).
Compatible with the following Canon DSLR cameras (and any others that work with the Canon RA-N3 Remote).
EOS-1V/1VHS, EOS-3, EOS-D2000, D30, D60, 1D, 1Ds, EOS-1D Mark II,III, EOS-1Ds Mark II,III, EOS-10D, 20D, 30D,40D, 50D, 5D, 7D
